Evergreens

Shanklin & Godshill Evergreens is the home for the more "mature" members of the club (in age anyway). 

In the 2022 season, we made the conscious decision to try to stick to this ethos, just adding in a few younger occasional players who don't play league cricket. 

We have a full schedule of fixtures on Thursday evenings, mostly at Westhill against both Island teams and touring sides. We normally start at 6pm and usually play with a bright orange ball - perfect for the fading light, and equally fading eyesight!

Paul Biddlecombe, who has captained the side for the last couple of years, has now announced his retirement - though we're hopeful he'll be tempted to put on the whites again on occasions!
